Nydia Pastoriza is a Creative Director and multidisciplinary design leader with over 20 years of experience shaping brand, content, and digital experiences across corporate, nonprofit, and consumer-facing organizations. Her career spans graphic design, photography, web and UX-aware digital design, and integrated campaign development, with a strong focus on human-centered storytelling and brand clarity.
Nydia is known for balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution. She has led and mentored internal creative teams, partnered cross-functionally with marketing, product, and executive stakeholders, and overseen end-to-end creative production across digital, print, social, and video channels. Her leadership style is collaborative, decisive, and grounded in high standards of craft, consistency, and follow-through.
Throughout her career, Nydia has built and evolved brand systems, streamlined creative workflows, and guided teams through complex projects with composure and precision, often in fast-moving environments with competing priorities. She is equally comfortable setting creative direction, presenting to leadership, and stepping into the work to move projects forward when needed.
In addition to her in-house leadership roles, Nydia has supported small businesses, organizations, and independent authors as a creative consultant, bringing agency-level thinking and execution to teams with limited resources. She approaches every project with curiosity, empathy, and a belief that thoughtful design can make complex information more accessible and meaningful.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in South Florida, Nydia has called Charlotte, North Carolina home for more than 20 years. Her lived experience and cultural background inform a people-first approach to leadership and storytelling, grounded in clarity, inclusivity, and trust.
Outside of work, Nydia is an author, lifelong reader, and creative storyteller. Under the pen name Lexi Aidyn, she published her debut novel Candid in 2017, an experience that further shaped her understanding of audience connection, narrative, and the creative process from concept to launch.
